Reiko from Comic Party - Cute, ne?

M A D O X  0-1

Wouldn't it be weird if one day, you found a robotic suit, tried it on, and no matter how much you tried, you couldn't get the damn thing off.

Meanwhile the Army have found the location of the suit and are on the trail of you to get it back (at any cost). And on top of that, your Ex Girlfriend is coming to visit you in a few hours time. Well that's exactly what happens to a young high school student called Sujimoto. After Suji's friend finds a strange grey box in the middle of the road, he decides to take it back to the garage where he and Suji work.

Meanwhile Suji finds out that his Ex Girlfriend is coming to visit him, and she instructs him to meet her when she arrives. After Suji's friend leaves the garage, Suji starts to fiddle with the box and and accidentally activates it and the box unfolds into a robot suit. After reading some of the instruction manual (everything has a manual nowadays) he learns that its called 'MADOX-01'. He also learns how to open the suit. Like any normal person would, he steps inside, and the suit closes behind him. At this time, Suji has only looked at some of the instruction manual and no matter how much he tries, he can't seem to get out.

Now onto the main plot. MADOX is actually a new Army prototype combat suit. In testing, the suit totally destroyed all the best tanks in the Army. It out guns, out manouvers, and out classes all the opposition, including the leading tank pilot Lt. Kilgore. After a test combat scenario, Kilgore's tank gets demolished by MADOX, and he swears to destroy the machine because he is jealous of it.

After the MADOX falls out of a truck during transport, the Army panics and decide that they must get the suit back at all costs. This just gives Kilgore an excuse to get his revenge.

Anyway, still stuck in the suit, Suji decides to go visit his girlfriend (he must be very committed). So if you hadn't guessed by now, on the way, Suji gets into a spot of trouble courtesy of Lt. Kilgore. Pretty funny, quite a lot of action, but its only around 50 minutes long.

RATING: 6.5/10
