Looks pretty far north to me :P

Honestly relocating is fine, just make sure to take plenty of comfort stuff for your first night / week there and you'll be fine. Box Sets, decent food - anything which you can look forward to

Afraid so. Comes with the job in my case; you have to go where the work is! Will you have much in common with your colleagues? They're normally a good starting point, given that you're going to be around them a lot anyway.

Well you did relocate to Nottingham. Which compared to where I will actually be.. Stone. Theres naff all. I havnt started work yet, but I'm in process of packing my stuff and going. Moving in prob next week. It's at an IT security firm, so hopefully there will be other tech nerds there of my age I can relate to...

It's either that or I take up golf... Theres 9 Golf clubs & Courses in the area...

If only there was people close by from the forums that I can pester for social reasons

I knew there has to be one person from stoke on here. What do you around here for fun? Apart from Golf..

It hasnt really dawned on me how urgent I have to move. I've just taken this as an excuse to not tidy my room anymore.. Its my first time living since uni, and unlike uni, I can't exactly knock on neighbours doors with a group of people to gather a 'crowd' and convince them to come out and socialise.
