C&C3 / Kane's Wrath video / audio out of sync

This is why I stopped playing PC games. Can never be easy just to play a game.

Basically I've installed Command & Conquer 3 and the expansion Kane's Wrath complete with all the latest patches. Now, whenever the cinematics start playing in campaign mode the audio starts playing ahead of the video, so none of it is synced.

Currently at work, but going to try graphics and audio driver updates. Anyone else had this problem with the game? The technical support at EA for this is less than helpful.

Both C&C3 and Kane's Wrath aren't hugely keen on ATI gfx cards, from memory, so new drivers may well sort the problem (assuming you're using an ATI card, of course ).

NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GTS I think. I can't remember the bloody PC specs.

Should of just stuck with the X360 version.

Dude! One thing you CAN NOT play on consoles are strategy games. Actually make that TWO things; you can't play porn games either!

Try checking your codecs are working properly. If you want a quick fix, uninstall them all using filmerit and install k-lite.

That clearly doesn't work. Imagine trying to masturbate while controlling the action using a controller. This is another ill conceived publisher's game... -_-

Oh yeah! If you have more money than time, I recommend Supreme Commander Gold which has a pretty awesome story as well as the usual 3D RTS thingies.

That's interesting - I was going to give trav an alternative rts recommendation too (as I wasn't that keen on C&C3) but I was going to recommend World In Conflict (which is actually coming to consoles this autumn, I believe). I found I was actually a bit disappointed with Supreme Commander, but then I haven't had a chance to really play it properly.

Only game I know that can be played one handed. FACT!

I got a love for the command and conquer games. Loved Red Alert and Red Alert 2, other RTS seem too intense for my slow brain. Give me something with BIG GUNS!
