That looks very nice indeed. I'm not as fussed by bonus features as many other people are, but if it's possible to buy an HD version of this at that price, I'm tempted too! Certainly an alternative to the US versions if you can get it.

It's a minor thing really, but the packaging's not bad either.

Shame about the massive blue boxes at the bottom though - UK warnings are brightly coloured but at least they sit unobtrusively in the corner. Definitely might be worth a look though - where are you getting it from?

If you want the le you can get it from madman direct or jbhifi, otherwise the standard edition is less than £20 on moviesplus I usually use moviesplus but I'll probably order the le of vol 1 off madman direct.

Still wonder why Australia doesn't have amazon

Amazon have an appalling record on worker pay, rights, terms and conditions as well as tax avoidance

Or the fact that Australia is just too tiny to bother with as a market.
I mean the rest of Europe is just on there on the back of the UK.

For such a 'tiny' market, the amount of anime releases there equal, or even surpass, the UK.

Is it just me who doesn't like the look of this? I don't know what it is about it, but somethings giving me the 'cheap' vibe and I'm not talking about the price.

The photos are quite dark so that may be having an impact on your impression. It looks quite nice to me, but not anything particularly special given the "LE" (limited edition?) tag?

I may be way behind the curve but I noticed the other day that UP1 has started selling Australian releases (specifically I noticed Australian releases for both Denno coil and Bunny drop as being listed).

It has to be said that their Australian imports are expensive - you may be better served importing them yourself at the moment.

Any recommendations on sites to shop on? Never imported from Aussieralia before...

(I missed this discussion on twitter unfortunately... should have taken notes!)

If you want dennou coil the 2 parts are inc postage £60 off moviesplus its not on madmans store so it could be out of print too. Also dont know how this works for the uk but the last couple of packages i got from there were underwritten to avoid vat charges .
