Default [Review] Kids on the Slope - Eps. 1-4

http://www.uk-anime.net/anime/Kids_o..._Eps._1-4.html

Shinichirou Watanabe and Yoko Kanno are reunited for this unique little series - what's the result of their latest collaboration?

Seen some clips of the music sections and it looks really nice. If it's not announced any time soon will consider importing from the US.

It'll be a hard sell to anime fans in any territory, not least the UK, so I imagine it might be an import job from Sentai.

Blimey! 9/10 seems a high score for a review on here but I can say this anime more than deserves it! I wish they would play more of 'that' Jazz though

Gotta say I have to disagree with this review. Should be a 10/10
I love this show a little too much, I actually can't get enough of it!

Yeah that was great, if they offered a premium service to get like 5 episode batches. I could not decline, when I start watching I just want more. Sign of a great show!

I started watching the first one when it was free, then cr emailed me a free trial 28 day pass, so I caught up on eps 2-5 last night. Lovely show. May well continue with the subscription now that I've established that the 720 flash stream doesn't make my Macbook Air boil too much..

There's a nice bonus in that when explaining the show to people you can rant about how Watanabe is responsible for some of the best and most interesting SF and samurai shows, and how excited you are... then discover its about kids playing jazz..... and it's still awesome!
