Conventions In The UK

I really love going to conventions (if i have the money) & really love cosplaying as well
Who else goes to the Expo's in the UK?
(I hope this is a ok place to put this)

You'll find most of the UKA staff at the London Expo whenever it's on, and James and I may well be at the one in Manchester in a few months. Your best bet is to ask abut specific conventions on the forum, and those of us going will put our hands up

I'd like to go to more, but I can't afford the travel/staying costs of going any place outside of my immediate city at this moment in time. Probably for the best as it would only mean i'd be constantly broke if I were able to go and buy everything

That said I'll be at Manchester MCM Expo, as will a couple of others on the site.

I should be at the Manchester Expo fingers crossed but before that one, im going to Nemacon (North East Manga & Anime) in Middlesbrough this month (June)

Well, as the organiser of the aforementioned Expo after-party, I'd say that's the perfect opportunity to meet up...just waiting for the manager of Fab to get back to me with confirmation that we're still booked in (initially booked it months ago) before officially announcing it.

It'll be at Fab Café, quite close to Manchester Central, where the Expo is, from 4pm 'til 9pm.
