HMV are giving 20% off blu rays using H8BLU20

also noticed that HMV have listed Black Lagoon seasons 1 and 2 on blu ray for £35 each with the 20% makes them £28 cheaper than HMV

I like this. HMV just did a 10% offer over the bank holidays, so reckon I'll be re-ordering some of my pre-orders.

A very, very fine series indeed. If you don't have Gungrave, buy it:

Either you're getting it mixed up with something else or you've been misinformed! Gungrave is a fantastic series - think The Godfather, with added reanimated warrior zombies.

This. It's a similar story arc to Beserk, with great characters, some lovely design work and a hint of Goodfellas about it.

Bought! I've wanted Gungrave for ages, everyone always goes on at me for not seeing it, a tenner is a bargain!

Missed Gungrave by going on holiday, but now have wifi, and the offer has changed to Berserk:

Noticed the manga got a rave review on ANN this week - would anyone like to comment on the anime?

It's really good if you can handle your blood, sex etc.. It has a good story with decent characters. Be warned however that the anime only covers about 12 volumes of the manga, which itself is at around the 36+ mark, and so doesn't have any sort of conclusion.

Also be warned that, like Gungrave, the first episode isn't at all indicative of the series as a whole.
