Default Little greetings to my home! ^-^

Hey Guys! No time no see!

You're right, I wasn't here since a long time, but I will explain what's happened to me briefly, just to keep you informed and probably to don't forget me

Well... It's harder to explain, but yes... During the Easter period (2 months ago) and coming back from Rome, my mom noticed me about a lynphnode on the right neck. I was very worried and she noticed it to me while we was eating all toghether at dinner. The day after I went to my doctor, and from there she suggest me to do specific blood analisys.

after spending ALOT OF MONEY for blood analysis and specialist visits, they noticed in a worried way that TSH's getting low, and, compared with my last blood-giving analysis, It's true. Damnly true.

And, obviously, I had some trouble at work, like deconcentration, weak, and being tired twice. My boss said to me "keep yourself healthy, go home for 5 days. Take care!". And he did.

Therefore, I went to the specialist again and checked my Ecograph screen captures, he's going to the harder conclusion with me: probably affected by Basedow-Graves' Disease. Briefly: thyroid Issue and an excess production of hormons in FT3 and FT4 section, for no reason. I cried, and very sad to probably get every day a Thyroid pills forever. That disease could also be a very big problem if not treated properly... Almost to the Heart.

Now I am under a therapy with specific medicines to keep my thyroid under control and Tomorrow I will go for another list of - Expensive - Blood analysis after a "diet" of 45 days, composed with saltless dishes, precisally Sea-Salt and Iodium-Based one are excluded to my foods. My Antibodies TRAB results was a little bit high, and there's the hope to definitely cure the Basedow-Graves' Syndrome without any problem.

Now I am totally ok, but there's a major risk where my Thyroid will collapse someday, or getting out of control. In that case, if will happen, I have to remove it doing some therapy of radioactive Iodium-131 against my body, and keep myself in Quarantine for 20 days, the necessary time to pull Iodium-131 out of my body. It means: never touch pregnant women, never touch anyone, serving myself of cleaned and sterylized stuff (forks, knives, plates... Even brushteeth and so many common stuff). It would be hard, but whatever.

Anyway, Hope to don't be so much annoyed. I know, Everyone don't care about it, but I do it. And I write it just to... Let you know. All of you. ^_^
And now, the most important thing that I could rely on is myself and keep it healthy and nice.

Gomen ne.

Basedow Graves is a really insidious disease, ure dr did very well diagnosing that, its always good to catch these things early. As u said, no cure, but the treatments will help to stop the disease do so much damage, which honestly makes being stuck taking tablets worthwhile.

Best of luck with the treatment plan, hope things improve for u soon

In the SSN (Servizio Sanitario Nazionale - National Healthcare System infact) I asked for an ecograph, and they told me "you have to wait Six months". Yeah, how about a cancer during this wait? I had to pay for a damn eco-doppler Exams, and I have no time, especially now.

No excuses, fortunately. If I decided for this, probably I would tell you some other jokes as an excuse.
Well, thank you alot, pal. ^^ I am quiet ok though, through job and free-time spending beyond BF3 and Sony Vegas... But it's ok!

The specialist told me that the Graves' Disease could put alot of troubles if not catch in time. Althought as I said, mainly in the heart, over the quick hair fall, eyes issues... Stuff like that.

I am so damn sorry about myself as well, trust me

I have a nice doctor, and followed by a very amazing specialist. Both of them are great and helped me so much. They lead me to the right way to realize my issues. Unfortunately, not so much doctors can have the skills to recognize things like that in time, even because alot of experiences in the field is needed. I am lucky in this manners ^_^

But... If those tables are worthing to save my life or not, I am also luckier to not get some badass issue than Graves. My doctor said "there's alot of people more unluckier than you."

I am sorry for being away from here, but please, forgive me >.< I need time.

I am quiet ok now until thyroid will work properly under medicines, the rest who know? We will see that through the time.

Superfish, I just love you for your kindness.
