Default Okami HD

Initial reaction, hell YES! Buying that. But no physical release tempers my enthusiasm somewhat.

Gah, conflicting! I LOVE the game and imagine it'd be stunning in HD but I really would like a physical copy.

Default Okami HD arrives on PlayStation 3 this Autumn

http://www.uk-anime.net/newsitem/Oka...is_Autumn.html

Having never had the opportunity to play this before, I'll be snapping this up once it's available to us.

I played a demo and liked it, but never got around to getting the full game.

Fantastic game - might have to get this again. (loved it on PS2, but throught the controls on Wii were a bit meh)

Will probably hold back in case a physical version is announced.

Yeah, the Wii controls did spoil an otherwise excellent game a bit (they would probably have been improved by using Wii MotionPlus).

I'd be far more interested in a new sequel than an upgrade of the original game (it's only 18 months since I played Okami, so have no desire to replay it anytime soon).

Ah, this will have to be a day one purchase for me! I loved the original, but never really played it as much as it deserved. If only there were a vita version though... that touchscreen and back screen would come into their own I feel...

Some early screenshots for those curious as to how this will look.

Hmmmm from those shots it looks like they've brightened up the palette and hardened the lines. Disappointing, it's supposed to look like a watercolour. The soft lines and washed out colours are a large part of the charm of the game.

Also I'm not seeing much evidence of the canvas style filter that is applied to the original, it's there in places but not in others.
