I'm just waiting on confirmation that the US blu-ray is region-free. I want my commentary track! Also, I'd very much like to own the unedited version of the film. (Though I did pick up the one from Sainsburys as the US one doesn't appear to have the 90-minute documentary which is excellent by the way)/

I didn't read about that sillyness with the cut until after i'd bought it
The article @ melonfarmers says that Warner themselves are advising people to import the uncut version

Hoo boy that day was mental. Word got out the Blu-ray was edited, everyone wanted to know what Disney were playing at. I sent a tweet to the BBFC to see what they had to say, they replied promising to investigate. Disney then tried to claim that the film was always edited and that we were all hallucinating in the cinema...which of course was disproven by the BBFC the next day.
Disney then backtracked, but they're not going to do a thing about it. Finally it showed up on Watchdog (though they only spent about 30 seconds on it and missed the important details). All this within 24 hours! Needless to say I'll be watching their Iron Man 3 release like a hawk to see if they try and screw us again...but it's DisneyUK, and they've always screwed us And yes, they told people to import the US version for the missing features. Great advice Disney! Might have to follow it for ALL your future releases now!
