I have no idea what this is but surely it can't be the boxset that sells between £70-£90

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gundam-Wing-...7582280&sr=1-1

For £2.93 I'm taking a shot at it to see what turns up
Your asda link has gone 404 so I'm guessing that is was incorrectly priced and then pulled once they found out about the mistake.

I got the email from selectcheaper too, stupid thing is yesterday i emailed them saying their site says they have none in stock but amazon says they do, then they sent the generic "We have recieved your order and payment" email... Idiots...

And yeah, i got one from asda earlier saying they are having trouble with stock for the set...

I kinda expected this to happen, but it was worth a try anyway lol, oh well... Just means we gotta pay proper price

My guess is that they had so many orders coming in at once that the site(s) couldnt update the stock amount fast enough to stop over ordering... So its first come first (and only) serve really... I've heard nothing from Lovefilm about it (ordered from there too), and nothing from asda about Hack//Sign, Patlabor and Stratos yet... Anything your end?

I ordered one each of .hack, Patlabor and Stratos 4 on Wednesday -- I've just had an e-mail saying that they can't fulfill my Stratos 4 order at the original price (I'm free to reorder it at the current price of GBP 16.43, apparently...). No word on the other two items yet.

BTW, on-line stores (and physical ones) don't have to honour any orders made for items that are mis-priced -- they can legally withdraw the item from sale and refund any orders placed. They sometime choose to honour orders at the wrong price, for PR reasons, but certainly don't have to.

My Gundam Remastered collection turned up today. All episodes re-masterd, limited numbered on the bottom of each box set, concept art book, free delivery.... £2.93. Is that the best deal ever? It is one of the nicest collections I have seen.

I also ordered Stratos 4, Patalbor and .Hack. Stratoes and Platabor are due for shipping on the 20/07 and .Hack is due to be sent next month all at £2.93. Haven't had an email from them saying they've cancelled it.

Happosai is right in saying they don't have to honor sales like this. However when I was looking originally for the deals out of the list of online shops it gave me I figured Asda were the most likely to send the stuff out even though someone has made a huge balls up.
