Huge amount of stuff announced at the Expo, even if there was no industry panel this time. But we have all the info... enjoy.

A couple of cool titles there, and interesting to see both Beez and MVM mentioning interest in older series. I like my old-school anime! ^^

Good to see Fate and Rozen Maiden being announced. It's just a shame Overtüre will never see a release here.

2nd Series of Mahoromatic, woo!

Darker than Black boxset

Obviously Eva 1.1 bluray and Sky Crawlers.

Good year!

If moribito ends up in some box sets, I'll have them.

I think my biggest fanboy excitement moment out of that lot was for 5cm per Second on Blu-Ray. A definite must have... So pretty.

Yeah, definitely the only way to watch 5cm at home - DVD just wouldn't do it justice.

I'll pick up Mahoromatic season 2 for completeness' sake (and the fact that it's good natured fluff) and cross my fingers over Fate/Stay Night getting the box set treatment.

The Blu-Ray line-up is a damn good year indeed...Sky Crawlers, GitS 2.0 and the NGE Rebuild, on top of Sword of the Stranger. Excellent. 'Scuse me while I shed manly tears of happy at 5cm/s FINALLY getting the HD treatment. Awesome.

I'm intrigued by Beez's Legends line though. I can think of some old faves to suggest, such as Wings of Honneamise, Gunbuster first series and perhaps the original Macross (ADV had the US licence but that was a good year or two ago if memory serves). They could be onto a good thing if they can negotiate the reams of red tape for some of the older titles.

Here's hoping that with Bleach s4 being split over three sets they'll get the entirety of the Bount arc out of the way so I can start buying it again.

Probably because the English episodes have a longer running time than the Japanese so a standard dual language setup would be impossible (the American release solved this with double-sided DVDs :X).

It's a cheap set, so have ordered it anyway. ^^
