Default [Review] Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos - Eps. 1-3

http://www.uk-anime.net/anime/Nyarko..._Eps._1-3.html

It's certainly chaotic, but is this oddball take on the Cthulhu mythos any good?

I didn't get it myself...

It tried very hard, and didn't get very far. Felt (don't shoot me) like Haruhi for some bloody reason I can't put my finger on.

I have to admit that I watched the first episode a couple of days ago, and I didn't really get it either. Even a main character voiced by Kana Asumi didn't help with that.

Having recently endured Asura Cryin' and to a lesser extent C3 - Cube x Cursed x Curious; two 'boy and his girls use magical powers to defeat evil' series this one comes as quite a relief. Perhaps it is just good in comparison but so far I'm having a laugh and really enjoying it.

I have only seen the first 2 episodes, and he fork thing annoys me, but I like it. I think I might prefer the flash animations, but that's probably because the art was cute.

The thing is predictable... Very predictable with its storyline... But it makes me laugh and its cute and easy to watch, perfect for after a long day at work.
