Yemen Chameleon (Artemis) ![]() Blue Tongue Skink and Cat (Cleo) ![]() Me and Blue Tongue Skink "Hufflepuff" ![]() Bearded Dragon "Kronos" ![]() as you can see, he is missing most of his toes and a full leg, the people i rescued him from were going to get him put down, I was horrified, another dragon had mangled his leg so I took him to the specialist vet and got it removed, i'm so soft Lionhead cross "Simi" ![]() ![]() 2xRats "Ziggy and Chiko" ![]() while i'm at it, might aswell throw in a photo of my dog lol, "Jessie" ![]() what kind of parrot did you have?, I've worked with Macaws/african greys and parakeets!, I've always had cats too lol Surprisingly, there has been practically no change in my electricity bills since I got the reps, but that's because all my light and heat sources are on the appropriate thermostats to control the temperatures ,they only come on if they need to, UVB bulbs are probably the most expensive, only need to replace them every 8 months though so it's not too bad, they need to be on between 10-12 hours a day lol, stick them on a timer and you are sorted !! you think i'm crazy don't you?? lol |

I'm only looking after the Yemen just now, although i've had her since Feb, she had an infection in her spine so i've been giving her some TLC, she lay 44 eggs last month :O |

I used to have 4 Chinese Fire-bellied Toads. (I think that's the name, they have orange bellies and spots all over) I have 1 left now. No idea how old it is as it was already an adult when I got it. It's at least 15, but very possibly nearer 20 lol.

My sister had a Leopard Gecko named Zippy at one point. We got it from my uncle who had a few interesting pets. My other uncle also ran a pet shop in Blackpool, and I believe they has some reptiles. Don't really see them lot often though.
It died a few years ago at the age of like 8 or 9, so yeah |

Lovely animals! I would love some reptiles although I have no experience of them I have always wanted them. I'm renting at the moment so it is a pet free zone, we have requested to keep small pets a few times but the landlords just ignore us and never respond, I'd really like some ratties.

I've 2 dogs, 2 cats, 8 chickens, 3 ducks and 4 horses at my parents (yep, it's a farm...) although I've moved out into town now so no more dog walking for me!
My uncle had an iguana and has piranhas: they're cool

If you ever decide to get a reptile then give me a shout! I know a lot of breeders (throughout the UK) and will give you honest advice about the set-ups, a lot of shops sell the wrong things, they are mostly in it for the money (don't get me wrong a lot of the specialist shops aren't like that) the only problem with Rats is they can be quite smelly Quote:
was it a working farm your parents had?, I done my animal care training at an agricultural college, i've always done a wee bit of work on Dairy/beef, aswell as helping with lambing !! used to work with horses too |

Horses are immensely dangerous. My mother was thrown off her Friesan a few months ago and broke her back after it spooked at 'nothing'.

I would love land!, I would keep Anglo-Nubian goats, they are seriously the coolest goats ever, i've wanted one for ages but don't have any land, I also worked at a childrens farm and they used to chase me about, fun times! yep, I have had enough of horsey injuries, I just don't bother with them anymore, wouldn't work with them again, absolute nightmare! |
