Coming in the final months of 2012

Kodansha Comics announce three new manga licenses

We've received word that Kodansha Comics have lifted the lid on a trio of new English language manga licenses, all three of which are currently slated for an initial release in the final months of 2012.

First out of the box is Battle Angel Alita: Last Order, a title which has changed hands having been released by VIZ Media up to this point - Kodansha will take over the reins for this series from volume sixteen to continue the story of cyborg Alita as she battles to save the mind of her friend Lou.

Next up is Danza, a collection of six short stories written by Natsume Ono, the author of House of Five Leaves amongst other series.  The focus of each of these stories is inter-personal relationships within the varied settings of their given tales, from police partnerships through to earthquakes.

Finally, we have Missions of Love, originally known as Watashi ni xx Shinasai in Japan.  Penned by shoujo author Ema Toyama, the series brings together seemingly perfect guy Shigure and the cold, distant Yukina.  Both of these individuals have a big secret to hide, and its Yukina's discovery about Shigure that sets them down the path to an unlikely romance.
