We reported last week on Amazon Prime's entry into the anime simulcast market via their plans to stream Wit Studio's original series Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress worldwide, but a further announcement today has revealed the full details of what this deal entails.
According to reports, it seems that from now on all future series which air in Fuji Television's well-known noitaminA programming block will also be streamed exclusively by Amazon on their Prime service, and what's more the opening episode of each new series will stream on Amazon before its Japanese TV broadcast on Fuji Television itself.
Although the territories to which this particular deal applies haven't been revealed as part of the announcement, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress' worldwide streaming suggests that future shows will get the exact same treatment.
