The trend of using crowd-funding service Kickstarter to raise funds for anime projects continues, and yesterday saw another project along those lines launch on the service.
This particular project is headed up by animator and animation director Keiichiro Kimura, who is aiming to create a short, five-minute work consisting of around 2,000 frames of animation, each of which will be hand-drawn in pencil by Kimura himself. The short film's story will follow a lone samurai fighting for his life against 100 vicious enemies.
As a result, the project - named Go! Samurai - is aiming to reach a goal of just $10,000 by November 20th, with just a $5 pledge netting you a digital copy of the finished work.
If you want to know more or back the project, then you can do so via the campaign's Kickstarter page.
