The Anime Limited news just keeps on coming, and yesterday brought with it something of a curious announcement from the distributor.
It's now been confirmed that the company has acquired the UK rights to Eden of the East, and will thus be releasing the TV series (but not, at this time, the movies) as a premium Collector's Edition. The release is scheduled for December 2016, with Amazon UK offering up this titles on pre-order with a 9th December date.
This Kenji Kamiyama series which aired on Fuji Television's noitaminA programming block and spawned two subsequent films which complete its story (as well as a recap movie) was previously released in its entirety in the UK by Manga Entertainment - one can only assume that their rights to the series have now expired, allowing Anime Limited to acquire the series in their wake.
There's no further information about the exact contents of this Collector's Edition at the time of writing, but you can find the full announcement at the All The Anime Blog.
