As you may have heard or experienced for yourselves, Anime Limited's release of Gurren Lagann in its Blu-ray Ultimate Edition form came unstuck when copies started arriving at people's homes... quite literally.
Due to an issue with the use of glue for the disc trays within the release's Digipak housing, these trays were either positioned incorrectly or not stuck down at all by the time they'd made it into consumer's hands - not good news for a release with an SRP of nearly £150.
Thankfully, Anime Limited themselves were quick to announce that they'd be running a replacement programme for any affected copies of the Gurren Lagann Ultimate Edition, shipping out new, correctly-glued Digipaks to those experiencing the issue.
This programme is now up and running, with the first replacement Digipaks due to ship out in two weeks - if you own a copy of the Gurren Lagann Ultimate Edition and want a replacement Digipak, all you have to do is send a photo of your copy and proof of purchase to Anime Limited, fill in a survey, then sit back and wait!
You can find all of the details of what you need to do in full on the All the Anime blog.
