It isn't really the start of a new year until we have some good old-fashioned delays to report on, so thank goodness we can rely on the folks at Anime Limited to get us back up and running properly with no less than a trio of titles that have seen their UK release pushed back.
Perhaps the least surprising of these delays affects Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Part 1, which has fallen from its expected release date of next Monday (January 16th) due to a delay in BBFC certification. A new release date will be confirmed over the next week or two once this has been resolved and BBFC certification is complete - the current plan is likely to see this half of the series arriving in February, with Part 2 of the show squeaking in before the second quarter is out.
Meanwhile, next week's other two January 16th releases from Anime Limited have also been delayed, with both Claymore and Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone having to be pushed back due to missing components from their releases.
In Claymore's case the issue has already been resolved, and a new street date set of 30th January 2017. In Evangelion 1.11's case things seem to be a little trickier, so you can expect that this film will now land on home video in its new form at an as-yet unspecified date in February 2017.
You can find more details on these delays over at the All the Anime Blog.
