Anime Limited confirm short delays to three titles, more on Escaflowne Ultimate Edition

Yesterday brought us the latest instalment of the Anime Limited Podcast, which of course brings with it some important topics of dicussion. Like badly dubbed Transformers cartoons. Oh, wait, there was some other stuff too...

Notably, there are a few minor delays to speak of, meaning that the following forthcoming titles have slipped slightly:

- Sword Art Online II Part 3 moves back two weeks from 28th March to a new date of 11th April.

A Letter to Momo shifts from its original 11th April date, and will now be released on either April 18th or 25th.

- The first season of Selector Infected WIXOSS is also delayed from its current 11th April release date while the distributor waits on the delivery of assets relating to the included booklet for its Limited Edition release - a new date is yet to be confirmed for this title.

Beyond these delays, the podcast also brought an update on Anime Limited's plans for Escaflowne in light of Funimation Entertainment's launch (and successful funding of) a Kickstarter campaign for a new English language dub for the series.

In light of this, it's been confirmed that the UK Ultimate Edition release will still be released this November regardless of this development, although Anime Limited note that it's likely that they'll have access to include the new English dub providing it's ready in time - if all else fails, this new dub may simply be shifted into the subsequent Standard Edition release (currently scheduled for December for the TV series, with the film also getting a subsequent standalone release) with some kind of offer to allow Ultimate Edition buyers to pick up that version.

The company also noted some other major differences between their UK release plans and those of Funimation in the US, including differing plans for the accompanying art book, the presence of the original Bandai Entertainment dub coupled with an HD version of the series for the UK (compared to the DVD-only inclusion of the original dub in North America), and the possibility of another very cool addition to the set that can't be confirmed at this time.
