While it's second season is currently ramping up towards the conclusion to the series in streaming form over on FunimationNow, we now have details of distributor Anime Limited's plans for the first half of Assassination Classroom's first series on home video.
Thus, Assassination Classroom Season 1 Part 1 will be arriving in the UK on May 30th in both Limited Edition Blu-ray and Standard Edition DVD forms. Both editions will contains the first eleven episodes of the series together with the show's "Episode 0" OVA, sporting both English and Japanese audio with English subtitles and on-disc extras consiting of the usual US cast commentary tracks, clean opening and ending credits and trailers.
The Blu-ray Limited Edition of this instalment of the series will also ship with a rigid box with room for the second half of the series, art cards and a Kunugigaoka Academy Student Handbook & Student Diary booklet as well as an Amaray case containing the two Blu-ray discs themselves.
