This Friday brought us another instalment of the Anime Limited Newswire, complete with more details on a forthcoming release alongside news of small delays for a trio of titles.
Let's start with those delays first and foremost, with Assassination Classroom Season 1 Part 2's Blu-ray edition delayed to an unspecified future date due to a replication issue - the DVD edition of this release will still be landing as expected on Monday, 26th September however.
Also pushed back is Free! Eternal Summer, which has slipped one week to 3rd October 2016. That's what it gets for running at the swimming pool, I suppose.
Finally, we also have news of a delay to one Funimation Entertainment title, with Gonna Be The Twin-Tail's DVD/Blu-ray combo pack suffering a stock delivery issue, which means that it won't be able to let its hair down on 26th September - its new release date is 10th October 2016.
In brighter news, the distributor unveiled the contents and packaging for their Eden of the East Complete TV Series Collector's Edition, which will sport an art card, stickers, 40 page "Official Log Book" - containing a map of events in the series, background art, interviews and a dissection of the iconic mobile phone from the series - and 90 minutes of on-disc interviews with Japanese staff. You can see the packaging and artwork for this release at the top of this news post - click in to see it in full-size.
Is this enough to tempt you to dip into the world of Eden of the East once again? Let us know in the comments.
In the meantime, you can read the latest Newswire in full at the All the Anime Blog.
