Asian Films at the Glasgow Film Festival 2015

The Glasgow Film Festival returns for 2015 and brings with it an impressive line-up of some of the most aniticipated Asian Cinema releases of recent times. Making its UK premier in Glasgow is the latest film from Shin'ya Tsukamoto (Tetsuo the Iron Man, Bullet Ballet, Tokyo Fist) Nobi, plus the latest film from Daihachi Yoshida (The Kirishima Thing) Pale Moon, Ann Hui's The Golden Era and Zhang Yimou's Coming Home. The festival also features Japan's oscar submission The Light Shines Only There (also screened at Raindance and the Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme), Black Coal, Thin Ice (previously screened at BFI London Film Festival) and the promising debut film from July Jung A Girl At My Door (which we reviewed as it screened at the BFI London and London Korean Film Festivals).
