Astro Boy and The Sky Crawlers coming to the Barbican

Two Japanimation events in London

Astro Boy and The Sky Crawlers coming to the Barbican

As part of the London Barbican's occasional Japanimation series of screenings, a couple of events under this blanket name have now been announced for the months of February and March respectively.

First up is a screening of the new CG version of Astro Boy (reviewed by ourselves here), which will be screened on Tuesday, February 23rd starting at 6pm.

This is followed in March by a screening of Mamoru Oshii's The Sky Crawlers, which will be shown on Tuesday, March 30th starting from 8:30PM.

Anime expert Helen McCarthy will be on-hand to introduce both movies.

Standard ticket prices for both events are £9.50 each, or £7.50 apiece if you book online.
