Crunchyroll add Myriad Colors Phantom World, Schwarzes Marken, Ooya-san wa Shishunki to winter line-up

As we promised yesterday, the winter season simulcasts will be coming thick and fast now, and yesterday night brought another trio of streaming announcements from Crunchyroll as they continue to ramp up for the next season. All three of these additions are coming to the UK to boot, so here's what we can look forward to:

Myriad Colors Phantom World - After the hugely impressive Sound! Euphonium last year, Kyoto Animation's first project for 2015 is something decidedly different in the form of their adaptation of novel series (published under their own banner) Myriad Colors Phantom World. Set in the near future, its story follows a group of characters who attend a high school where they're also tasked with using special abilities to fight off the "phantoms" of the show's title who are born out of its world controlled by the human imagination.

The series begins today, Wednesday 6th January, with episodes airing each week at 5:30PM UK time from this Crunchyroll page.

Schwarzes Marken - This spin-off from the Muv-Luv timeline takes us to 1980s East Germany, relating to the fight against the alien BETA and taking on some unexpected forms when it comes to the particular unit that this show follows.

The show starts on Saturday 10th January, with episodes arriving every week at 6:35PM UK time from this Crunchyroll page.

Ooya-san wa Shishunki! - Seven Arcs' short comedy series for the winter is an adaptation of manga series Landlord is in Puberty (to translate its title to English). The story revolves around a newly independent boy, who comes to discover that his landlord is actually a middle school girl.

This series also begins on Saturday 10th January, with episodes arriving at 3:30PM UK time each week over at this Crunchyroll page.
