Things are now truly ramping up for the summer 2015 anime season, and that means we have no less than four new simulcast announcements from Crunchyroll for you, all of which are coming to the UK!
Here are these new additions to the line-up for you:
Ushio and Tora - 1990s manga Ushio & Tora makes a comeback for 2015. MAPPA pick up the reigns for this new adaptation of the supernatural shonen manga which centres on a boy, a giant supernatural and tiger-like monster, and plenty of battles against various demons and mythical creatures.
The series is scheduled to air on Fridays at 3:30PM UK time from this Crunchyroll page, although episode one may be delayed a little.
GATE - A-1 Pictures take the reins of this fantasy light novel series for the summer, adapting its story of a 21st century Tokyo that sees a gate to another world appear - rather than the monsters from this world conquering Earth however, in fact the opposite happens and Japan comes to rule the city from whence its assailants came. More specifically, the story follows one official sent to investigate this new world, forcing him to use his knowledge of fantasy stories to survive and progress.
This new series begins today, Friday 3rd July, with episodes arriving every week at 6PM UK time to this Crunchyroll page.
Wakaba*Girl - If you're looking for some bite-sized doses of slice of life cuteness this summer, then Wakaba Girl might be the show for you - this manga adaptation focuses on the story of a rich but rather odd girl and her equally interesting group of friends.
We aren't sure when episode one will appear, but new episodes will appear every Friday at 4:40PM UK time. at this Crunchyroll page.
Wooser’s Hand-to-Mouth Life: Phantasmagoric Arc - Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life returns for a third series of shorts this summer, providing more japes with its freeloading, perverted and bossy (yet oddly cute) titular character.
Again, no news on the arrival date for episode one, but once things get underway new episodes will arrive each week on Fridays at 4:50PM UK time at this Crunchyroll page.
Are you excited about any of these shows? Let us know in the comments!
