Crunchyroll launch official UK site

Crunchyroll launch official UK site

Posted 19/03/2012

As part of our interview with the CEO of streaming web site Crunchyroll, Kun Gao, the company lifted the lid on their latest efforts to expand into English speaking territories outside of North America.

The good news for us is that the first territory to get this renewed focus is in fact the UK, and to complement this Crunchyroll have now launched www.crunchyroll.co.uk as their official UK portal.

Alongside this, Crunchyroll have now confirmed that their subscription payment options now fully support British currency, meaning that you can pay for your subscription to the site in Pounds rather than Dollars to make for an easier and more consistent experience.

As well as a two week free trial for new users, an all-access membership to the site is priced at £8.99 per month, with an anime-only membership weighing in at £4.99.

So, whether you're new to the service or an existing user, why not check out Crunchyroll's UK site?  Then, to find out more about the company's plans and strategy, don't miss the new UK Anime Network podcast!
