Crunchyroll simulcast Persona 5 the Animation - The Day Breakers

We're going to have to wait until next February to get our hands on the latest game in the Persona series in English localised form, but if you're desperate for a fix of Persona 5 before then you might be more than a little pleased to know that streaming service Crunchyroll have you covered.

From 1PM today, Saturday 3rd September, the service is simulcasting the first animated outing tied in to the video game, bringing Persona 5 the Animation - The Day Breakers to the UK.

This one-off special, animated by A-1 Pictures, serves as a prologue to the game itself, offering up a prequel to the story within the game by way of an introduction to its cast.
