If you're hungry for some new anime to watch in the midst of this current streaming season, then the weekend has brought a couple of new titles to the UK via Crunchyroll.
In terms of all-new anime we have Bono Bono, the latest animated iteration based on a four-panel manga of the same name. Bonobono, a young sea otter, bonds with Chipmunk, Fishing Cat and other friendly woodland creatures. In between the gags, this unique series deals with philosophically nuanced questions such as, "What is life?"
The first nine episodes of the series are currently available, with new episodes airing every Saturday at 1AM UK time - you can find the show at this Crunchyroll page.
Meanwhile, Discotek Media's catalogue brings us UK folks a blast from the past in the form of Miss Machiko. The mischievous students of Arama Academy meet their match in a beautiful and clever new teacher, Miss Machiko! But they're determined to find a prank that will really humiliate her.
This adaptation of the 1980s shounen manga currently has 12 of its 95 episodes available to view, with more to follow on the service in due course - you'll be able to check them out from this Crunchyroll page.
