Crunchyroll stream Qualidea Code, Rewrite, Active Raid this summer

Yesterday brought us news of three more summer season simulcast additions from streaming service Crunchyroll, all three of which will be available to the UK. "So what are they?" we hear you ask (yes, we can read your thoughts... scary, isn't it?) Allow us to tell you:

First up is Qualidea Code, which launches on Saturday 9th July with new episodes airing every week at 5:30PM UK time via this Crunchyroll page. Here's the brief series blurb:

This is a world where humanity is always at war with the Unknown. The kids who were evacuated to a cold sleep facility during the initial invasion decades ago wake up from their slumber to find that they'd manifested superpowers called the "World". To protect Japan from the Unknowns appearing from the Tokyo Bay, these kids would start their own battles at the defensive strongholds of Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Chiba.

Next up is Rewrite, which lands this Saturday, July 2nd - episodes air every week at 5PM UK time via this Crunchyroll page. Here's the synopsis for this adaptation of the Key visual novel:

Green City Kazamatsuri is a city built on the ideal of a harmonious relationship between civilization and environment. It's where Tennoji Kotaro lives a quiet life with Kanbe Kotori, Yoshino Haruhiko, and his other friends. However, the peaceful Kazamatsuri will soon be faced with its annual commotion, the Harvest Festa at the turn of the year.

It's an event that is much like a massive school festival, and Kotaro decides to head out to research topics for his articles. It's an easy decision for him, because the town is filled with rumors about unidentified creature sightings and various other occult occurrences. At the same time, strange things start happening to Kotaro himself. He goes to Senri Akane, the president of the school's Occult Research Club, and asks her for help. And then, he drags his friends into his mess and begins investigating all of these events.

To Kotaro, this is supposed to be just a little adventure of sorts. All he wants is to live his life having fun with his friends. But he is yet to realize that this will lead him on a quest to figure out the "truth" that nobody is aware of.

Finally we have the previously announced Active Raid 2nd, which has now been confirmed with UK availability from Sunday, 10th July at 6PM. You can find the series (including its first season) at this Crunchyroll page. Here's what it's all about:

The nation's capital, Tokyo, where the Space Elevator Project is proceeding at full tilt, in preparation for the summit. 

Established to fight crime based around Willwear, enhanced armor, is the Special Public Security Fifth Division Third Mobile Assault Eighth Unit—Unit 8 in short. Having saved Japan from Logos' terrorism, Unit 8 was now become really popular around the country. However, crimes misusing Willwear showed no signs of slowing down. In fact, they kept escalating. Kuroki and the rest of Unit 8 now have new members on their side, and continue to fight evil crimes with their brains, bravery, and the gift of gab—now with the help of civilian police.
