Crunchyroll to stream Kiznaiver, Twin Star Exorcists and Anne-Happy to the UK this spring

We're less than a couple of weeks away from a new season of anime, and of course that means that streaming announcements will be popping up left, right and centre over the coming days.

To that end, Crunchyroll has started to pull back the curtain on their spring season line-up, beginning with these four additions:

KiznaiverThe story takes place in Sugomori, a city built upon reclaimed land that once prospered as a futuristic city. One high school boy living there, Agata Katsuhira, is somehow unable to feel any pain. One day just before the start of summer break, Katsuhira is called by a mysterious girl named Sonozaki Noriko and chosen to become one of a group of people who share one another's pain: a "Kiznaiver." Several of his classmates have also been chosen as part of this group, but they're all people from different circles who normally wouldn't associate with each other.

Sonozaki calls this an experiment for the purpose of guiding their battle-ridden world toward peace. After learning all this, many trials befall them one after another. The story of the summer experienced by these students chosen to bear one another's pain begins here!

This so-called "Crunchyroll original" series has previously been announced for streaming, but we now know that it'll premiere on Saturday 9th April at 4:30PM UK time. You'll be able to watch it at this Crunchyroll page.

Anne-Happy - A group of pitiable girls live their days with energy and cheer in this encouraging school comedy. All the students of Tennogofune Academy's Class 1-7 seem to be plagued by ""bad karma,"" or misfortune. Hanakoizumi An the unlucky, Hibarigaoka Ruri of the tragic love stories, Kumegawa Botan with her perpetually poor health, Hagyuu Hibiki with her bad sense of direction, and Ekoda Ren with constant women troubles have just joined the class, and they're all doing their best to live their high school lives as happily as they can...

This series begins on Thursday 7th April, with episodes airing every week at 3PM UK time over on this Crunchyroll page.

Twin Star Exorcists - Grotesque monsters known as Impurities reside in Magano, a realm parallel to the present day. Exorcists purify these evil apparitions to protect the people. Rokuro Enmadou is opposed to becoming an exorcist, even though he has the talent to be one, but an oracle gives him the title of "Twin Star Exorcist," the name bestowed upon married exorcists. Benio Adashino, the girl who receives the title along with Rokuro, is determined to exorcise all the Impurities in the world. The two find themselves wrapped up in more and more battles together as the Twin Star Exorcists, and as Rokuro watches Benio fight with the wish to become stronger, he's forced to face the weakness he's lived with ever since the Hiinatsuki Tragedy. Now that his eyes are turned toward the battle again, thanks to Benio, Rokuro makes up his mind to fight as an exorcist once more, and the Twin Star Exorcists take on the most powerful of Impurities together!

The show begins on Wednesday 6th April, and episodes air every week at 12PM UK time at an as-yet undisclosed Crunchyroll page.

The Asterisk War Second Season - Invertia--The astral catastrophe that annihilated many cities in the 20th century also gave birth to an all new human race with special abilities called the Genestella (the Star-Pulse Generation). At the same time, the special element (Mana) found within the meteors of Invertia facilitated humanity’s technological advancement. Upon Rikka, the academy-city above water, or what many call the “Asterisk,” students of the six schools prepare for the Festa. These annual comprehensive battle tournaments are held on a worldwide scale and each of the six schools place their hopes in their teams to bring them victory. In the Phoenix Festa (tag-team battle) category, Seidoukan Academy’s Ayato Amagiri takes up the challenge along with his partner Julis, the Witch of the Resplendent Flames (Glühen Rose).

This second season begins streaming on Saturday 2nd April, with episodes arriving each week at 4PM UK time. You'll be able to find the show (as well as its first season) on this Crunchyroll page.
