Crunchyroll to stream Mob Psycho 100 and more this summer

We still aren't done with Crunchyroll's announcements for the summer 2016 season, as they firm up territorial details for some shows and add others entirely. The last couple of days have seen four announcements along these lines, so let's dig straight into them.

First up, Taboo Tattoo has its first episode available right now, with future instalments arriving every Monday at 7:35PM UK time. Here's what the show is about:

"Tattoos" - ancient weapons that drastically enhance the physical abilities of their users, known as the "Sealed," allowing them to bring forth supernatural phenomena when activated through the charging of the user's own unique "trigger."

When Justice Akatsuka (a.k.a. "Seigi") saves a man from some street punks, the man gives him a strange stone as a token of gratitude. The moment Seigi accepts it, a mysterious tattoo appears on his palm.

On his way home from school the next day, Seigi is suddenly attacked by "Izzy," a girl wearing a coat despite the warm weather. He fights back with the jiujitsu that his grandfather taught him, but Izzy's power overwhelms him, leaving his very life in danger... and so the battle begins, framed by a web of conspiracies and centering around Justice Akatsuka, the boy who obtained a "tattoo" by complete chance.

Meanwhile, This Art Club Has a Problem! begins airing today, with episodes appearing every Thursday at 8:30PM UK time. Here's the synopsis:

An ordinary arts club at an ordinary middle school, Tsukimori Middle School. One member, Uchimaki Subaru, wastes his abundant talent trying to draw his perfect 2D waifu. Another, Usami Mizuki, can't stop thinking about the loser that is Uchimaki-kun. Then there is the club president, who, despite being asleep all the time, seems to care for the two, and another vague, sketchy member, Colette. Today, yet again, in this art club full of mild disappointments, a problem arises.

Arriving next week is Mob Psycho 100, which begins airing on July 11th with episodes airing every Monday at 5:30PM UK time. Here's the story:

Kageyama Shigeo, a.k.a. "Mob," is a boy who has trouble expressing himself, but who happens to be a powerful esper. Mob is determined to live a normal life and keeps his ESP suppressed, but when his emotions surge to a level of 100%, something terrible happens to him! As he's surrounded by false espers, evil spirits, and mysterious organizations, what will Mob think? What choices will he make? The anime based on the original story by ONE, the idol of the webcomic world and creator of One-Punch Man, is coming your way with animation by leading animation studio Bones!

Finally, Naria Girls has been confirmed as coming to Crunchyroll soon, although there are no region or release details available at present. Here's what you can look forward to with this one:

The title "NariaGirls" is a Japanese pun for "Nariagaru" (rising in the world). The story centers on three girls: Urara, Hanabi and Inaho, who decide to make an anime series by themselves to become nationally popular characters. The theme that they choose to gain broad popularity from children to adult anime fans is "Magical Girl." Will they be able to produce a one-cour magical girl anime successfully and become popular characters?

Kotaro Ishidate, who previously worked on gdgd Fairies, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono, and Q Transformers: Kaettekita Convoy no Nazo, is attached to direct and also servers as the series composition writer. Japanese illustrator Okazu Misoyama designs the anime characters, and he has posted a newly-drawn illustration featuring the main three girls on his Twitter.
