Of all the great films at last October's Scotland Loves Anime, Yasuhiro Yoshiura's Patema Inverted stood as one of our favourites - and we weren't alone, with the film also winning the audience and judge's panel votes in the process.
If you haven't seen the film yet, or perhaps more importantly if you want to see Mr. Yoshiura (also the director of the critically acclaimed Time of Eve) in the flesh for yourself, then you may want to consider a trip to the Edinburgh Filmhouse on Saturday, February 22nd, as a screening of the film will be followed by a question and answer session with the director in his first visit to the UK.
Tickets to the screening, which takes place at 12:30PM, are available from the Edinburgh Filmhouse web site.
You can read more of our thoughts on this film from our review of its theatrical screening last year.
