Discotek Media announce five new North American licenses for 2015

As something of an early Christmas present, distributor Discotek Media have announced a whole slew of licenses both new and old for 2015, with the promise of plenty more on the way. So, what have the company nabbed for the new year?

- Lupin III: Jigen's Gravestone - This Takeshi Koiike two-part OVA-cum-film outing follows on from The Woman Called Fujiko Mine in offering a grittier take on the world of Lupin III. Unusually for Discotek, this release will feature the company's first ever English dub alongside the usual English subtitles and Japanese audio, with the release slated for both DVD and Blu-ray.

- Yowamushi Pedal - Both series of this cycling-based sports anime from TMS have been picked up the Discotek for a subtitle-only release in North America - no release formats for these series have been confirmed at this time.

- Go Nagai World - This three episode parody of the works of Go Nagai from 1991 will receive a subtitle-only DVD release in the US.

- The Little Mermaid - Toei's take on this classic fairy tale from 1975 will also receive a DVD-only, subtitle-only release.

- Iria: Zeiram the Animation - This sci-fi OVA, already available in the UK from MVM Entertainment, will be released in the US on DVD with both English and Japanese audio with English subtitles.
