Following on from yesterday's news from Sentai Filmworks, it seems it was enough to get Discotek Media in the mood to indulge in a little licensing rescuing of their own.
Thus, the North American distributor yesterday revealed via Facebook that they have acquired the license to Cromartie High School, Production I.G.'s 2003-2004 adaptation of the comedy manga of the same name.
The series is scheduled for an April or May 2016 release in the US on DVD, in an edition that will feature both English and Japanese audio with English subtitles.
