Evangelion 3.33 now scheduled for February 2016 North American release

The saga surrounding English language releases of Evangelion 3.33: You Can (Not) Redo doesn't need to be expanded upon at this point, but is 2016 finally going to be the year we can put this story to bed and hold a copy of the film in our hands?

Possibly, if FUNimation Entertainment's panel at New York Comic Con is anything to go by, as after many trials and tribulations the film now has a new North American release date of February 2nd 2016 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Assuming that this date can be met without any further hitches, we should be able to expect Manga Entertainment's UK release of the film to finally land in the second quarter of 2016. Let's cross our fingers and hope that nothing else goes awry, shall we?
