Howl's Moving Castle and Tales of Earthsea to get June 25th UK Blu-Ray release

Howl's Moving Castle and Tales of Earthsea to get June 25th UK Blu-Ray release

Posted 17/02/2012

After their remastered, High Definition releases in Japan last year, we were confident in predicting that 2012 would bring both Howl's Moving Castle and Tales of Earthsea to the UK on Blu-Ray courtesy of STUDIOCANAL.

This assumption has now proved to be correct, with both the Studio Ghibli classic from Hayao Miyazaki and Goro Miyazaki's directorial debut now confirmed for a June 25th release here in the UK.  Both films will be released as DoublePlay editions containing their respective films on both DVD and Blu-Ray, with the latter format making use of a High Definition remaster of the source material.

Will you be picking up either of these movies on Blu-Ray? Let us know in the comments section below!
