JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable anime green-lit

Although we were mired in London Comic Con news all weekend, it didn't escape our attention that some big news made it out of Japan on Saturday, with confirmation that there will be more JoJo's Bizarre Adventure coming in animated form in the future.

The news came at the end of an event surrounding the previous series of David Production's TV anime, confirming that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable has been green-lit for production. There's no further news on when we can expect to see the series air or who is involved in it, but it's an exciting announcement for fans of the series if nothing else.

Viz Media are publishing the English translation of the original JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga, while Crunchyroll are streaming the entire anime series to the UK. The full first season of the anime adaptation is available on DVD and iTunes from Warner Bros Home Video.
