Loot Crate launches Loot Anime

Loot Crate launches Loot Anime

Written by A. H. on 18 Nov 2015

We've been hearing about Viewster's "box of stuff" product aimed at anime fans Omakase for months now, but it seems a new rival has appeared in the form of the grandaddy of the loot crate... err, Loot Crate.

Today has seen the company launch Loot Anime, a monthly bundled "Anime Crate" containing themed anime-related goodies purportedly valued at around $60 and shipped to your door.

Named partners for the service at this time include Sentai Filmworks and Kodansha Comics (and we've also seen suggestions of FUNimation Entertainment's involvement), with the first theme for the service being "Brawl" and promising items revolving around Naruto Shippuden and Attack on Titan amongst others. Subscriptions for this first crate are open until November 27th.

The Anime Crate product does ship to the UK, at a monthly cost of US $34.95 (around £20 a month) including shipping and handling, and with discounts if you sign up for a longer period.

You can find more details about the service on the Loot Crate web site.
