It's already found itself sliding before, but distributor Manga Entertainment has just announced via Twitter that their forthcoming release of Samurai Warriors has been pushed back once again.
The series, derived from a video game, was previously slated for a release on 6th March of this year, but is now expected to arrive on 10th July 2017 as a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack containing both the series itself and its initial OVA. The reason for the delay was not specified.
The series is described as follows:
Samurai Warriors focuses on the Sanada brothers during the Sengoku era of Japan. In late 16th century, the era of civil war that tore Japan over two centuries is nearing its end and the regional warlords who survived the bloodsheds are ready for a final showdown. In the battlefield where your best ally turns out to be your worst enemy, only the shrewdest can come out alive.
EDIT (01/02/2017): This story originally reported a delay of this title to 22nd May 2017 - the story has now been updated to reflect the further revised release date.
