Netflix launches in the UK with numerous anime titles

Manga Entertainment releases and more

After making huge inroads into the North American video on demand business, well-known service Netflix has now reached the UK, offering up a free one month trial to new customers and an "all you can eat" subscription for just £5.99 per month.

Of particular interest to anime fans will, of course, be what titles Netflix offers along these lines - here's the list of series and movies currently available on the service at the time of writing:

- The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya
- Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers
- Ghost in the Shell

- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - 2nd Gig

As you can see, releases from Manga Entertainment make up many of the available releases with a handful of exceptions, with the opportunity to watch a number of big-name titles - we can only hope that this list is added to as time goes on as another great way for fans to get hold of anime easily and cheaply.
