New Editor Announcements

Written by Seb Reid on 21 May 2018

Its been a busy few days at the new UKA-HQ!

I would like to welcome some new faces to our editorial team who I hope you will recognise for their years of hard work on the podcast, awards, reviews and articles over the last few years.

In chronological order of appointment...

Robert Mallarkey - UK-Anime.net Video Games Editor - One of our favourite men from the North of the Wall, Robert has been playing games since he could hold a controller and I would regard him as a true expert in the field of everything video game related. He is certainly much more qualified than I was in this area! He has written for UKA for several years now on both the anime and gaming side and we hope that he will continue for many years to come and I have been very impressed with his writing and output. It gives me great pleasure to welcome Robert onto the editorial team.

If you want to pass on any feedback on our Video Games related content, please direct this to games@uk-anime.net or contact the website via twitter, the forum or our contact form.

Daniel Barnett - UK-Anime.net Anime Editor - The Watcher, as we liked to call him on the podcast, has graduated into a new position here. Taking over from Daniel Rhodes and Andy Hanley before him, Dan has finally fulfilled his life's dream of writing anime and publishing it. Dan has spent much of his time over the last few years dedicating himself to dissecting and watching as much anime as he can and he will bring these years of experience to the fore as our new editor for anime. Dan is a close friend and I wish him all the best in this demanding new role for the website.

While we are still rebuilding our content after the change, we expect that our anime content will come rising from the ashes shortly. Again, if you have any feedback for our new anime editor, please direct this to danb@uk-anime.net or contact the website via twitter, the forum or our contact form.

As always, if you have any queries on the running and management of the website, I am always available via my email at seb@uk-anime.net, and the usual methods above.

I hope you will all welcome these changes to the team.

Thanks,

Seb Reid

UK-Anime.net, Editor in Chief
