Need something to cheer you up this Monday? Why yes, of course you do - so how about a dose of new anime on manga to soothe the woes of another week?

This Monday brings us a pair of notable releases from Manga Entertainment, with our own personal highlight being the DVD release of the Spice and Wolf Season One Complete Collection - check out what we thought of this wolf deity's first set of adventures in our review of the series. Also available today is the Hetalia: Axis Powers movie, Paint it, White - our thoughts on that little theatrical outing can be found here.

Today is also the start of another pretty big release week for manga, although let's begin by mentioning the release this week of The Intrigues of Haruhi Suzumiya, the latest in Yen Press' light novel series - watch out for our review over the coming weeks! That aside, it's a big week for Viz Media, as they release not one but two volumes of Bleach, as well as more Bakuman, Toriko and Black Bird, before giving a debut to the first volume of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. Elsewhere, Dark Horse Comics this week release the eleventh volume of Neon Genesis Evangelion spin-off The Shinji Ikari Raising Project, and Kodansha Comics bring forth more volumes of Mardock Scramble, Cage of Eden and GTO: The Early Years.
