New Releases (28/05/2012)

While we begin our period of recovery from the weekend's MCM London Expo, there's little time for our wallets to do likewise thanks to a bumper week of new releases!

Starting out with anime, Manga Entertainment have more new releases than you can shake a stick at, with Kaze UK provided Bleach movies enjoying particular prominence this week.  At the top of the pile is the latest film, Bleach: Fade to Black, now available on both DVD and Blu-Ray - check out our review over here.  Also getting an upgraded Blu-Ray re-release are the first two films, Bleach: Memories of Nobody and Bleach: The Diamond Dust Rebellion - our reviews of these two new releases can be found here and here respectively.

If you're not a fan of that franchise then don't fret, as also arriving this week on DVD is the first volume of Kyoto Animation's Key visual novel adaptation Clannad, while also landing is the first season of Baka and Test: Summon The Beasts as a DVD complete collection - check out our review of the latter here, with a Clannad review on its way soon!

Looking over new manga releases, this week brings us the final instalment of Sumomomo, Momomo from Yen Press, while we're also treated to new volumes of Soul Eater and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.  Another highlight of the week is their release of the first volume of Puella Magi Madoka Magica - we'll have a review available soon!  New volumes of Fairy Tail and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney round out the week.

Looking forward to next week, MVM Entertainment's Broken Blade arrives on both DVD and Blu-Ray, we get to enjoy some more Naruto Shippuden from Manga Entertainment, and there's no shortage of new manga to look forward to as well.  Until then, enjoy!
