New Releases - 12th December 2016

There's not too much to speak of in terms of new releases this week, but it's very much a case of quality over quantity if you ask us.

First out of the bag today is MVM Entertainment's Blu-ray box set release of the Ergo Proxy Complete Series Collection, updating the show's previous DVD releases with a new HD edition.

Speaking of which, our other major release today is an impressive remaster itself, as The Transformers: The Movie arrives as a 30th Anniversary Steelbook Blu-ray edition. Read our nostalgie-fuelled review of the film and this edition of it right here.

Meanwhile it's a huge week of manga and light novel releases, bringing us everything from Assassination Classroom to Sword Art Online and Akame Ga Kill Zero to Toradora - check out the full list below.
