New Releases - 15th May 2017

We have a busy week ahead here in the UK - Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry comes to cinemas on Wednesday, but before that we have a slew of new anime releases to take a peek at.

This week's highlight comes from Funimation and their first release in conjunction with Universal Pictures, as the My Hero Academia - Complete Season 1 Collector's Edition lands in the UK as a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack. We've taken a look at the make-up of this release in detail in a video which you can find over here.

Elsewhere, Animatsu Entertainment's excellent Gatchaman Crowds Insight Complete Series Collection arrives on DVD and Blu-ray today; read our review of that release right here.

We also have a couple of new releases from Manga Entertainment's stable today, with the latest Pokémon movie instalment, Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, landing in the UK - you can read our review on this page - while Naruto Shippuden Box Set 28 arrives on DVD, with our review coming very soon.

Last but certainly not least we have MVM Entertainment, and their release of the Amagami SS Complete Season 1 Collection on DVD and Blu-ray. Our review of this release has just gone live, and you can read our thoughts on yonder web page.
