New Releases - 18th July 2016

It's a decidedly slow week for new anime releases this Monday, but nonetheless let's press on, for there are plenty of manga and light novel releases this week.

Let's begin with that solitary new anime release, as Assassination Classroom Season 1 Part 1 arrives belatedly on DVD from Anime Limited to complement its prior Blu-ray release, our thoughts on which you can read right here.

Meanwhile, there's no shortage of new light novels arriving this week, including the first volume of Re:Zero and new instalments of the likes of No Game No Life (hot on the heels of the announcement of a film based on the franchise this weekend), Durarara and A Certain Magical Index amongst others. There's also plenty of new manga sloshing around, including Re:Zero in this adapted form, more Prison School and plenty more besides - check out the full list below.
