New Releases - 19th December 2016

It's our final Monday of new releases before Christmas, so what last-minute stocking fillers are hitting retail shelves this week?

Today's big anime release is surely the return of Death Note to the UK, this time in a Complete Collection form on Blu-ray for the first time courtesy of Manga Entertainment, boasting the entire series and the show's Relight OVAs. We'll have a review of this shiny new edition of the series for you in due course.

Elsewhere, today sees MVM Entertainment bring Sakura Trick to the UK on both DVD and Blu-ray for anyone who wants their Christmas sealed with a kiss. Again, we'll have a review for you soon!

It's a quiet last week before Christmas in terms of manga, with Seven Seas Entertainment bringing us Pride and Prejudice as well as the second volume of Lord Marksman and Vanadis.

Next week, Boxing Day will see Nerima Daikon Brothers arrive in the UK (no, really) - until then, take care and Merry Christmas!
