New Releases - 21st November 2016

After a wet and windy weekend, it's time to brighten all of our days with a look at what new anime releases this Monday heralds.

Let's start out with Anime Limited, who bring us a couple of releases this Monday. First up we have the long, long-awaiting Makoto Shinkai Twin Pack on Blu-ray, bringing together Voices of a Distant Star and The Place Promised in Our Early Days in HD. Our review of this release has just arrived on the site, and you can check it out over here.

Also released today on Blu-ray is the Lucky Star Collector's Edition, containing the full series and OVA of this series. We haven't received any review check discs for this title and are currently unsure whether any will be provided, so no news of a review for this one presently.

Last but certainly not least, the first Fullmetal Alchemist Collector's Edition arrives on Blu-ray, bringing the first half of the series back to the UK minus its impressive Ultimate Edition casing that we've just taken a look at over here.

Meanwhile, today sees MVM Entertainment complete their release of Log Horizon as Log Horizon Season 2 Part 2 lands in the UK on both DVD and Blu-ray - we'll have a review of this title later in the week for you.

Finally, Manga Entertainment bring us another dose of Yu-Gi-Oh this Monday as Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Season 1 arrives on DVD. No review from us for this one though we're afraid.
